Do you ever feel like running away from home and feeling like no one will greet you when you come back?
In Luke 15:11-32, we find that Jesus is talking about the lost son. In the story, we also read that the son wandered away from his father.
You know, this is a perfect picture of how my life or our lives can be toward God the Father. Sometimes, we wander away from the Truth and don’t know where we are going until we hit Rock Bottom. (To be a little funny, let’s not use the episode of Spongebob Squarepants where he goes on a different route and arrives at Rock Bottom.) No pun intended here...
No, that is not what I am talking about. What I am talking about is how sometimes we as Christians, tend to walk away from what the bible says is true. After we do this, we pretend like nothing will happen to us, but the truth is, the enemy will devour us if we don’t run home! Check 1 Peter 5:8 for more information.
I truly hope this encourages you to not run from the arms of our Savior into the arms of another. Peace be with all of you! https://iluvbingjcsbride.blogspot.com/2016/06/running-from-arms-of-out-savior-into.html
Blessings!
