2. Podría preguntarle a mi amigo Kay venir junto a mí para orar conmigo que comparto mi fe.

[1] Consolad, consolad a mi pueblo,
dice tu Dios. "Y yo dije:" ¿Qué voy a llorar? [21] No ¿Sabe usted? ¿No has oído? [25] "A quien me vas a comparar? [28] No ¿Sabe usted? ¿No has oído?
[7] He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe.

Sharing the Love of God and Christ Jesus: share how you do it!

How have you shared your faith? Maybe you have shared it through writing or talking with a stranger.
Here is a look at a devotional I did yesterday:

1. Sharing my faith seems daunting challenge to overcome on my own.
2. I could ask my friend Kay to come alongside me to pray with me that I share my faith.
3. I start conversations with people about Jesus and am not afraid of persecution of my faith.

Isaiah 40:1-31 NIV
[1] Comfort, comfort my people,
says your God. [2] Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins. [3] A voice of one calling: "In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord ; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. [4] Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. [5] And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." [6] A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. [7] The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. [8] The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. " [9] You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!" [10] See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. [11] He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. [12] Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? [13] Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord, or instruct the Lord as his counselor? [14] Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding? [15] Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. [16] Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings. [17] Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing. [18] With whom, then, will you compare God? To what image will you liken him? [19] As for an idol, a metalworker casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and fashions silver chains for it. [20] A person too poor to present such an offering selects wood that will not rot; they look for a skilled worker to set up an idol that will not topple. [21] Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? [22] He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. [23] He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing. [24] No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff. [25] "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One. [26] Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. [27] Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel, "My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God"? [28] Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. [29] He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. [30] Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; [31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 NIV
[6] For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day---and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Hebrews 12:1-13 NIV
[1] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, [2] fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. [4] In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. [5] And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, [6] because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son." [7] Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? [8] If you are not disciplined---and everyone undergoes discipline---then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. [9] Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! [10] They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. [11] No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. [12] Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. [13] "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
Philippians 1:6 NIV

[6] being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

This is true when it comes to sharing our faith.
We should not be afraid to say that we believe in Jesus' name!

Comparte comentando a continuación!

Bendiciones!

Working through the tough times in this life: How to spread God's word through writing

What inspires you to write a blog post or short story? Maybe it's something that happened to you or a friend.
Whatever the case, write about it. It hurts your body more than your spirit when you hold all this information inside. You will blow up if you don't let it out and tell and minister to others through writing.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not to lean on your own understanding. We all know that's true, but what about our hearts? Are we holding things in that we need to let go of?
Last weeks pull from the nursery, really hit home for me. The fact that this man of God pursued me out of love and jealousy with the heart of the Father, I know I am coming back into the spirit of ushering at my church as he fathers me spiritually speaking.

Pause for a minute and ask God to give you a heart of love for His Church, the Bride. Know that you are loved and when you tell your story Online, or through a book, it changes LIVES. Lives are being changed because people see your testimony of God and begin to feel His Presence through you!
So, change the world. Not by sitting on the couch but by worshiping and spreading the Gospel message for the world to hear!

Tatiana

Waking up on days like today: how to believe what the bible says contary to man

You might not even wake up tomorrow is the saying I heard from a friend of mine.
Unfortunately that is not true. The bible says don't worry about tomorrow but it does not mean you will die in your sleep overnight.
Jesus and James were both very clear when they said a) don't worry about tomorrow found in Matthew 6, and b) do not assume what you want to do that day because you don't know what a day may bring found in the New Testament.
So don't be surprised if someone says you might not wake up tomorrow morning because that is a lie!
Here is the explanation for why they say that: they don't want you to go to bed angry and upset about what someone might have done or said to you. They want you to be forgiven for your sins ahead of time before you go to sleep so that you don't die or the Lord takes you home on time. (That's in His timing not yours.)
Don't be afraid to say what you need to say. Jesus is with you!

With you in the joy of Jesus,
Tatiana

Bible reading and time with God: How to take into consideration His bigger plan for your life

How would you feel if I said to you don’t read your bible everyday? Shocked? Surprised?

I say that because we all should evaluate our time spent with God. It’s good that when we wake up in the morning to get ready for the day. But what about God? God wants us to spend time with Him and for me that’s two hours a day. Out of 24 hours, that’s eight hours of sleep plus 4:30am-6:30am then get ready for the day.

Here is what I am trying to communicate to you today: as a bride of Christ and child of God, it is extremely important that we spend time with the One who created us: God.

It’s like a wife getting up very early in the morning to greet and meet with her spouse and spend time with him. At least two hours or more everyday is what I would highly recommend for those that are children of the Living God.

Proverbs 30:8-9
Psalm 59:16-17

When you sin, try this prayer from this psalmist: Psalm 51:4

I hope that without a doubt you feel encouraged and lifted up in the Spirit.

Comenta abajo.

Bendiciones!

Desperate and Hungry for Love: How to Satisfy that Burning Desire within

Do you ever feel like God has left you alone in a room?

Jesus loves you and wants you to know that He will never abandon you to anywhere. Why? Because He wants what is best for you and will never forsake you in any way, shape or form.

I have experienced this before where I have felt alone in a crowed room. Jesus told me that he will never leave me alone and at that time, I felt the urge to open up my bible and read some Scripture based on how I felt.

Here’s what I found:
Joshua 1:9 God will never leave us
Knowledge: Isaiah 64:4; Isaiah 63:11

The point I have to make here is that Jesus who came in human flesh, NEVER left us alone in a crowded room. And He never will at all!

Spiritual Parenting and the Reality of God the Father: Let's talk.

Do you ever feel like your child or children are not listening at all to you?

It helps me to know that God is a Parent too and He knows how it feels to deal with disobedient children because we are His children.

All throughout the bible, God calls himself our Father and understands how you feel when your child or children disobey you.

So what is a parent to do? Embrace the process of parent and learn from the process. Also, let God speak to you during the process and let the process of raising kids as an ongoing process as well.

Nehemiah 9:26 NIV
[26] "But they were disobedient and rebelled against you; they turned their backs on your law. They killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you; they committed awful blasphemies.

Luke 1:17 NIV
[17] And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous---to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Ephesians 5:12 NIV
[12] It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Ephesians 5:13-14 NIV
[13] But everything exposed by the light becomes visible---and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. [14] This is why it is said: "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

Lord Jesus we come before you knowing that you will answer our prayers because we understand that you are a parent of your children who are us. We love you Daddy and ask that you would forgive us for our own sins against only you and cleanse us. Now Lord God we ask that you would help us as parents to obey you Daddy and turn our hearts towards you alone. Lord we ask that we would with your help take steps to improve our relationship with our children and that because of our learning and obedience to you that they will learn to obey us. In Jesus name, amen,

May God bless you and your families!
