[6] Porque yo ya estoy para ser derramado como una libación, y el tiempo de mi partida está cercano. [7] He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe. [8] Y hay en el almacén para mí la corona de justicia que el Señor, juez justo, me premiará en aquel día --- y no sólo a mí, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.
Hebreos 12: 1-13 NVI
[1] Por lo tanto, teniendo en derredor nuestro tan grande nube de testigos, vamos a un lado todo lo que peso y del pecado que nos asedia. Y corramos con paciencia la carrera que tenemos por delante, [2] puestos los ojos en Jesús, el autor y consumador de la fe. Por el gozo puesto delante de él sufrió la cruz, menospreciando el oprobio, y se sentó a la diestra del trono de Dios. [3] consideren a aquel que sufrió tal contradicción de pecadores, para que no se cansen ni pierdan el ánimo. [4] En su lucha contra el pecado, que todavía no ha resistido hasta el derramamiento de su sangre. [5] Y ha olvidado por completo esta palabra de aliento que aborda como un padre se dirige a su hijo? Dice: "Mi hijo, no hacen la ligera la disciplina del Señor, y no perder el ánimo cuando te reprenda, [6] porque el Señor disciplina al que ama y castiga a todo el que recibe como hijo." Sharing the Love of God and Christ Jesus: share how you do it!
How have you shared your faith? Maybe you have shared it through writing or talking with a stranger.
Here is a look at a devotional I did yesterday:
1. Sharing my faith seems daunting challenge to overcome on my own.
2. I could ask my friend Kay to come alongside me to pray with me that I share my faith.
3. I start conversations with people about Jesus and am not afraid of persecution of my faith.
Isaiah 40:1-31 NIV
[1] Comfort, comfort my people,
says your God. [2] Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins. [3] A voice of one calling: "In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord ; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. [4] Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. [5] And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." [6] A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. [7] The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. [8] The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. " [9] You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!" [19] As for an idol, a metalworker casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and fashions silver chains for it. [20] A person too poor to present such an offering selects wood that will not rot; they look for a skilled worker to set up an idol that will not topple. [21] Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? [22] He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. [23] He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing. [24] No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff. [25] "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One. [26] Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. [27] Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel, "My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God"? [28] Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. [29] He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. [30] Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; [31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 NIV
[6] For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day---and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Hebrews 12:1-13 NIV
[1] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, [2] fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. [4] In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. [5] And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, [6] because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son." [7] Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? [8] If you are not disciplined---and everyone undergoes discipline---then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. [9] Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! [10] They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. [11] No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. [12] Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. [13] "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

This is true when it comes to sharing our faith.
We should not be afraid to say that we believe in Jesus' name!
