Wanting What We Want Instead of What God Wants for Us

"Just not in the way you expected." You’ve heard it said before. Moreover, you also might have heard, "But I wanted that part God! Why didn’t you answer my prayer in the way I wanted?"

But, sometimes, God allows circumstances in our lives to remind us of his power not our power. Why? 

Because God wants what is best for us and sometimes our best, isn’t HIS best idea or plan for our lives. 

I know. I have been there. I know what it’s like to pray and than when my prayer gets answered not in the way I wanted, I honestly feel mad or disappointed. 

It’s not God’s fault that we don’t get our prayers answered the way we hope or imagine. It’s that his Plan is SO MUCH better than our "imaginary" ones that we make up. 

God is God. There is no excuse. 

So since Buddhists, Atheists or Muslims might be reading this blog, check out the other "religious" blogs. Or not, religion, but love proof that God does exist. 

So, the next time you feel like either there is no God or He is not answering your prayers the way you want, remember Joel 2:12-14. 

Jesus is madly in love you and I will keep reminding you of this until the day I die. 

So, (genteelly said), deal with the God who loves you and get rid of your sin.

Mi nombre es Tatiana y quiero que la gente me guste.

La gente agradable. Todos lo queremos malo. Pero la realidad es que si Dios nos llama a amar a otros y no complacerlos, entonces ¿qué estamos haciendo diciendo que queremos que los demás nos gusten?

Sin embargo, si trato de agradar a otros más bien que a Dios mismo, caigo en la trampa del engaño.

No caigas en la trampa de engañarte a ti mismo a través de la indulgencia de sí mismo. Que no vale la pena.

La opinión de Dios importa más que la del hombre. Cuando venga a esa área de su vida donde quiere que la gente le guste, pare y piense: "¿esto realmente me está glorificando o glorificando a Dios?" También, "¿Esto vale mi tiempo y energía?" Es otra pregunta que hacer tú mismo.

Looking at yourself through the eyes of love

My name is Tatiana and I want people to like me. 

People pleasing. We all want it BAD. But the reality is if God calls us to love others and not please them, then what are we doing saying that we want others to like us?

However, if I seek to please others rather then God himself, I fall into the trap of deception.
Don’t fall into the trap of deceiving yourself through self indulgence. It’s not worth it.

God’s opinion matters more then man’s. When you come to that area in your life where you want people to like you, stop and think: "is this really glorifying me or glorifying God?" Also, "Is this even worth my time and energy?" is another question to ask yourself.

Staying Safe Online and Wherever God Leads You

Did you ever wonder why people are following you on Twitter? Or how about Snapchat followers who only want one thing: sex?

Sometimes, we need to look past the issue and look deeper into what I call the issue behind the issue. In other words, when someone like a celebrity follows you on anything related to the World Wide Web, look for a check mark by their name.

I made that mistake too and not just you. If you haven’t already, before you follow someone who is following you, look for the check mark right by their name. It can be a celebrity’s personal aide or assistant wanting to tell that person about your tweets or whatever.

Here’s the catch: stay safe and do NOT go crazy Online. I want everyone to be safe and stay SAFE!

Yo también cometí ese error y no solo tú. Si aún no lo ha hecho, antes de seguir a alguien que lo esté siguiendo, busque la marca de verificación junto a su nombre. Puede ser un ayudante personal de la celebridad o asistente que quieren decirle a esa persona acerca de sus tweets o lo que sea.
