"I have religion," someone says.
Honestly, Jesus did not come to bring a religion, he came to bring a sword and fire upon the earth. And to think that people think the exact opposite.
Religion can't save neither can good works. In other words, you don't get to heaven just because you have a religion or because you: feed the homeless, clean someone's garage or walk someone's pet. You can't earn your way into heaven either!
The bible makes it clear this religion is to be practiced daily: James 1:26-27 NIV
[26] Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. [27] Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
So there you have it, religion is WORTHLESS unless you put Jesus' words into practice...
Just a fact.
