I tend to do something you (if you are like me and commit this sin) will probably relate to: when confronted about something, tell the half truth instead of the whole utter truth! This is WRONG!
The bible states that if we claim to have a religion and do NOT keep a tight reign on our mouths, it is worthless to a holy, holy God and Lord!
James 1:26-27 TLB
[26] Anyone who says he is a Christian but doesn't control his sharp tongue is just fooling himself, and his religion isn't worth much. [27] The Christian who is pure and without fault, from God the Father's point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows, and who remains true to the Lord-not soiled and dirtied by his contacts with the world.
So, let's work together to tell the truth, the whole truth and NOTHING but the truth, so help us Jesus Christ.
