Following Jesus the Messiah: Are you in or are you out? The choice isyours...

Have you ever looked at Jesus and said: "I don't want to follow you?"
Jesus said come, follow me to men who could actually follow him physically. Yet in today's society, Jesus is pushed off the menu. He is not even in magazines or portraits.
However I think it's time to come clean of this selfish act and commit to following him alone. How?
Matthew 4:18-20 NIV
[18] As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. [19] "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." [20] At once they left their nets and followed him.
Matthew 19:16-22 NIV
[16] Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life ?" [17] "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments." [18] "Which ones?" he inquired. Jesus replied, " 'You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, [19] honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.' " [20] "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?" [21] Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." [22] When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
Philippians 2:6-8 NIV
[6] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; [7] rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death---even death on a cross!
Isaiah 53:4-6 NIV
[4] Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. [5] But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. [6] We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

There are two different things going on here: the rich man who says he is all OUT and the one disciple who is named Peter who says he is all IN.
I want to give you an invitation to receive something: https://iluvbingjcsbride.blogspot.com/2014/01/what-life-should-look-like-truth-behind.html?m=1. I hope and pray you receive Him who lives forever!
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
[17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Galatians 6:15 NIV
[15] Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

God bless!
