Plans? What did you say I was going to do now?

How many times have you told God your plans and heard him laugh?
https://www.shewrites.com/blog/view/2143771/plans-i-have-for-my-life-turn-around-and-tell-me-what-gods-plans-are?imgid=10

Don't do what I do which is trying to enjoy the plans I have for myself instead of manifesting in God's plans for my life. I will work on this believe me.

The point is that God's plans are much BETTER than our plans.

So, let's be honest with our holy God and enjoy the plans He has for our lives, not our own.

God bless!

¿Planes? ¿Qué dijiste que iba a hacer ahora?

¿Cuántas veces le has dicho a Dios tus planes y lo has oído reír?

¡Dios bendiga!

Intimacy? Can God really get that up close and deeply personal with me?

Have you ever felt lonely? I ask this question a lot because many of us men and women have some type of emptiness deep in our souls.
God, who is the heaven and earth Creator, has promised over and over again in Scripture that he will never leave us or forsake us.
In fact, he promised that once you receive his Son Jesus as Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit moves into you and begins to work in you and through you.

Deuteronomy 7:7-9 NIV
[7] The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. [8] But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. [9] Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Joshua 18:11-21 NIV
[11] The first lot came up for the tribe of Benjamin according to its clans. Their allotted territory lay between the tribes of Judah and Joseph: [12] On the north side their boundary began at the Jordan, passed the northern slope of Jericho and headed west into the hill country, coming out at the wilderness of Beth Aven. [13] From there it crossed to the south slope of Luz (that is, Bethel ) and went down to Ataroth Addar on the hill south of Lower Beth Horon. [14] From the hill facing Beth Horon on the south the boundary turned south along the western side and came out at Kiriath Baal (that is, Kiriath Jearim), a town of the people of Judah. This was the western side. [15] The southern side began at the outskirts of Kiriath Jearim on the west, and the boundary came out at the spring of the waters of Nephtoah. [16] The boundary went down to the foot of the hill facing the Valley of Ben Hinnom, north of the Valley of Rephaim. It continued down the Hinnom Valley along the southern slope of the Jebusite city and so to En Rogel. [17] It then curved north, went to En Shemesh, continued to Geliloth, which faces the Pass of Adummim, and ran down to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben. [18] It continued to the northern slope of Beth Arabah and on down into the Arabah. [19] It then went to the northern slope of Beth Hoglah and came out at the northern bay of the Dead Sea, at the mouth of the Jordan in the south. This was the southern boundary. [20] The Jordan formed the boundary on the eastern side. These were the boundaries that marked out the inheritance of the clans of Benjamin on all sides. [21] The tribe of Benjamin, according to its clans, had the following towns: Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,
Acts 13:16-25 NIV
[16] Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: "Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me! [17] The God of the people of Israel chose our ancestors; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt; with mighty power he led them out of that country; [18] for about forty years he endured their conduct in the wilderness; [19] and he overthrew seven nations in Canaan, giving their land to his people as their inheritance. [20] All this took about 450 years. "After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet. [21] Then the people asked for a king, and he gave them Saul son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years. [22] After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.' [23] "From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised. [24] Before the coming of Jesus, John preached repentance and baptism to all the people of Israel. [25] As John was completing his work, he said: 'Who do you suppose I am? I am not the one you are looking for. But there is one coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.'

So, the reality is that you are not alone if you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Once you have come to the cross and done this receiving process, he never lets you go! That's like a Man hugging his wife on their wedding night after they have had the ceremony, and not letting her go!
That's how much God wants to be with you, as intimately strong as you can get, is how much he longs to hold you in his arms and be with you!

Walk in that love! Even for the first time!

God bless!

¿Intimidad?

¡Dios bendiga!

Being Content is tough: but maybe not bad

The bible tells us to be content in all areas of our lives. How?
I have been buying iTunes for years now and it just occurred to me that the Lord was telling me to not buy iTunes anymore. You are probably wondering why this may be...
It's because it is truly impossible for me to finish an entire playlist of songs on both my iPhone and computer and so, I need to be happy in this area of my life!
And more...

Contentment is and elusive emotion. Once we find contentment we have to fight to keep it.

But maybe contentment is not something we look for. Maybe it is something we find when we stop looking.

I am content for one reason: I have a Maker who supplies all my needs according to his glory that is in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NIV
[19] And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

So, be elusively content with what you have and stop wanting EVERYTHING.

Patience is Not a Strength for most people: or is it?

How many times have you caught yourself saying something like, "Come on, God! I don't have all day!"
Or maybe you need to finish a chore and your waiting on your spouse to help you so you can go to bed on time.

Numbers 14:6-9 NIV
[6] Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes [7] and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. [8] If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. [9] Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them."
Joshua 2:1-24 NIV
[1] Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. "Go, look over the land," he said, "especially Jericho. " So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there. [2] The king of Jericho was told, "Look, some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land." [3] So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: "Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land." [4] But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. She said, "Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they had come from. [5] At dusk, when it was time to close the city gate, they left. I don't know which way they went. Go after them quickly. You may catch up with them." [6] (But she had taken them up to the roof and hidden them under the stalks of flax she had laid out on the roof.) [7] So the men set out in pursuit of the spies on the road that leads to the fords of the Jordan, and as soon as the pursuers had gone out, the gate was shut. [8] Before the spies lay down for the night, she went up on the roof [9] and said to them, "I know that the Lord has given you this land and that a great fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you. [10] We have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. [11] When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. [12] "Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign [13] that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them---and that you will save us from death." [14] "Our lives for your lives!" the men assured her. "If you don't tell what we are doing, we will treat you kindly and faithfully when the Lord gives us the land." [15] So she let them down by a rope through the window, for the house she lived in was part of the city wall. [16] She said to them, "Go to the hills so the pursuers will not find you. Hide yourselves there three days until they return, and then go on your way." [17] Now the men had said to her, "This oath you made us swear will not be binding on us [18] unless, when we enter the land, you have tied this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you have brought your father and mother, your brothers and all your family into your house. [19] If any of them go outside your house into the street, their blood will be on their own heads; we will not be responsible. As for those who are in the house with you, their blood will be on our head if a hand is laid on them. [20] But if you tell what we are doing, we will be released from the oath you made us swear. " [21] "Agreed," she replied. "Let it be as you say." So she sent them away, and they departed. And she tied the scarlet cord in the window. [22] When they left, they went into the hills and stayed there three days, until the pursuers had searched all along the road and returned without finding them. [23] Then the two men started back. They went down out of the hills, forded the river and came to Joshua son of Nun and told him everything that had happened to them. [24] They said to Joshua, "The Lord has surely given the whole land into our hands; all the people are melting in fear because of us."
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NIV
[16] Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. [17] For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. [18] So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The bible, unlike any other book, tells us to live with humility, gentleness AND patience. But is patience possible for you?

The answer to that question is not a maybe, but, a simple yes.
Below, are a few links to some videos you may need to take a look at:
http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=2http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=23http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=109http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=38

I know I need to work on gentleness too, but patience is a strength for me.

I hope you feel AND act the same way and become more and more like Jesus!

Blessings!

Http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=2, http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=23, http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/ ? Enmse = 1 & enmse_tid = 109, http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/?enmse=1&enmse_tid=38.

¡Bendiciones!
