What would our country look like without independence?, What would it be like without our Heavenly Father?, What would it be like not having Jesus as the Way to Salvation?

On July 4, 1776, the United States forefathers signed the Declaration of Independence. 

This important document ensures us of our indendependence as a nation and, states the American identidy. 

But, unlike the Declaration of Independence, Christians live under a Declaration of Dependence. Because of Jesus Christ we have freedom to depend upon a God who loves us with security that he has secured for us on the cross! All we are and all we have is dependent upon is based on this one relationship through Jesus Christ!

¿Qué harías si estuvieras varado en una isla desierta con nada más que:

¿Buena pregunta? Espera un minuto. ¿Dónde está el internet inalámbrico? Ese es el problema.

¿La solución? Trata con lo que tienes. Porque la Biblia dice que si tenemos comida y ropa, nos contentaremos con eso. En el día de mi padre, apenas tenían la tecnología que tienen en estos días.

Olvida las cosas tecnológicas! ¿Qué pasa si todo lo que tenía era su biblia de estudio y un comentario rápido? Ahora estamos hablando.

¡El punto que estoy tratando de hacer aquí es que cuando dejemos esta tierra, no nos llevaremos NADA! No importa lo mal que queramos, venimos al mundo desnudos y desafortunadamente, nos vamos desvestidos. ¿Lo tengo? ¡Bueno!

¡Espero que hayas aprendido algo hoy y todos los días mientras escribo este post y muchos más!

What would you do if you were stranded on a deserted island with nothing but:

Your laptop and its cords

Your speaker and its cords, and 

your mouse and its flash drive and batteries?

Good question? Wait a minute. Where’s the wireless internet? That’s the problem. 

The solution? Deal with what you have. Because the bible says that if we have food and clothing we will be content with that. Back in my father’s day, they barely had technology that they have these days. 

Forget the technological stuff! What if all you had was your study bible and a quick commentary? Now, we’re talking. 

The whole point I am trying to make here is that when we leave this earth, we will take NOTHING with us!! No matter how bad we want to, we came into the world unclothed and unfortunately, we will leave unclothed. Got it? Good!

Encontrarnos en un Junk Food for the Soul Quest: ¡Sal de allí o no te satisfará ni un poco!

No hace mucho tiempo, elegí tomar un pequeño refrigerio y era la verdad falsa azucarada. No es de extrañar mi mocha o lo que sea que no duró mucho y ciertamente no satisfizo mi vientre hambriento.

El profeta Isaías en el capítulo 55 de Isaías habla sobre no alimentar al estómago, sino alimento para el alma y cómo gastamos dinero en cosas como: redes sociales, música que no es como Cristo o quedar atrapados en lo que dicen las noticias sobre nuestro mundo en lugar de la vista de Dios.

Finding ourselves on a Junk Food for the Soul Quest: Get out of there or it won't satisfy one bit!

Not long ago, I choose to have a small snack and it was the sugary fake verity. Not surprising my mocha or whatever didn't last long and it certainly did not satisfy my hungry belly!

The prophet Isaiah in Isaiah chapter 55 talks about not food for the stomach, but food for the soul and how we spend money on things like: Social media, music that is not Christlike, or getting caught up in what the news says about our world instead of God's view.

Don't feel guilty, because I know I am guilty as well!

Sea orgánico acerca de pasar tiempo con aquellos que NO conocen a este Jesús. Ora con la gente y ora por la gente.

Matthew 28:18-20 NIV

[19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Can I tell my story: eight simple words; His story

God's love: John 3:16

Our problem sin: Romans 6:23

God's solution: John 1:14,17-18; Romans 5:8

Our response: Romans 10:9-10

Think and pray about the number of times you talk about your faith besides the number of times you talk about your favorite television show/store! 

Be organic about spending time with those who do NOT know this Jesus. Pray with people and pray for people. 

Hope to God that this pursuades you to know him better, even for the first time!!

¡Oh no! Tengo un picor en mi piel! ¿O tiene esto que ver con un pecado difundido?

Una alegoría que significa algo sobre cómo manejamos el pecado:

Recientemente, tuve que abrirme camino para plantar algo. Desafortunadamente, había obtenido el roble venenoso de una de las plantas en el patio trasero.

Cuando pecamos, debemos pedirle ayuda a nuestro Padre Celestial con aquellos tipos de pecados con los que más luchamos, o peor, independientemente. ¡Si le preguntamos a Él, él puede ayudarnos a vencer nuestros pecados más profundos que encontramos día tras día!


Entonces, ¿qué haremos la próxima vez que nos encontremos en un pecado del cual parece que no podemos salir? ¡Vamos a correr hacia nuestro papá y pedir ayuda!

Oh, no! I have an itch on my skin! Or does this have to do with a wde spread sin??

A allegory to mean something about how we handle sin:
Recently, I had to garden my way into planting something. Unfortunately, I had gotten poison oak from one of the plants in the backyard.
Had I not asked someone to help me with the itch, it would have spread to a pretty wide spread rash on my skin.

The real truth behind the story:
You know, sin is the same way! When we sin, we need to ask our Heavenly Father for help with those types of sins that we struggle with the most, or worse, regardless. If we ask Him, he can help us overcome our deepest sins that we encounter day in and day out!

So, what will we do the next time we find ourselves in a sin that we can't seem to get out of? We will run to our Daddy and ask for help!

Podemos establecer estos objetivos pequeños o mini físicamente tomando ocho vasos de agua hoy. O dedique tiempo a memorizar un versículo de la Biblia o aprender una nueva canción de adoración durante cinco minutos completos.

Si establece estos objetivos pequeños o pequeños física y espiritualmente, esa posición será para el progreso de hoy y la esperanza para el mañana.

Setting small goals help us grow in our faith!

We can set these small or mini goals physically by drinking eight glasses of water today. Or dedicate time to memorizing one bible verse or learning a new worship song for a full five minutes. 

If you set these small or mini goals physically and spiritually and that will position is for progress today and hope for tomorrow.

¿Sediento? Bebamos de Cristo: El pozo que nunca se seca

En mi último chequeo con mi médico, él me dijo que necesitaba tomar café.

Ahora, después de mi cita, aprendí algo interesante: ¿sabías que un exceso de café y menos agua pueden deshidratar tu cuerpo?

La mayoría de nosotros echamos de menos los síntomas anteriores:

disminución en nuestras lágrimas (no podemos llorar)

boca seca

agotamiento

De muchas maneras diferentes nuestros cuerpos están tratando de decirnos que necesitamos más agua.

Para ser realistas, nuestros cuerpos espirituales también pueden deshidratarse. Tienes:

una disminución en las lágrimas por el pecado

tal vez tu sensación de agotamiento

¿Está tu boca demasiado seca para derramar alabanza a Jesús?

Tal vez necesitamos saciar la sed de nuestra alma con el Agua Viva que solo proviene del pozo de la Palabra de Dios: ¡Jesús!

Thirsty? Let’s drink from Christ: The Well that never runs dry

At my last checkup with my doctor, he told me I needed to drink coffee.
Now, after my appointment, I learned something interesting: Did you know that too much coffee and less water can dehydrate your body?

Most of us miss the earlier symptoms:

• decrease in our tears (we are unable to cry)
• dry mouth
• exhaustion 

In many different ways our bodies are trying to tell us that we need more water. 

To be realistic, our spiritual bodies can get dehydrated too. Do you have: 

• a decrease in tears over sin
• maybe your feeling exhausted
• is your mouth too dry to pour out praise to Jesus?

Maybe we need to quench our soul's thirst with the Living water that only comes drawn from the well of God's word: Jesus!

On Where Will it be Provided? By the Lord that's for sure

The Lord will provide. He will.
Proverbs 3 says that those who trust in the Lord will have their paths directed.
I know at times how it feels to not fully trust in the Lord: https://www.shewrites.com/blog/view/2832386/intimacy-with-a-god-are-you-for-real. 
But fully trusting in the Lord takes time as you sit quietly before him while reading his word.
So, yes, the Lord will provide, but we need to do our part in the process.
