Moving forward

Today was my last day in my learning skills Teacher's classroom. Her name is Mrs. Rozman and she was very kind to me. However, let me explain how I got to this point in my career as a student:

Three semesters ago, one of my teachers in my program introduced me to her. This happened on February 4, 2012, which was my first day at Monterey Peninsula College. As you could probably tell I was nervous but she said she could squeeze me into her writing lab. I accepted and she wanted to see a sample of my writing. When she read it, she noticed a lot of grammar and spelling errors. She handed me a recommended sheet of paper that contained pre tests to check how far I was and what needed to be learned in class. I passed not all of them, but I did my level best.
The second semester of classes  were a prerequisite in order to fully earn my English in associate of arts degree. Anyway, I passed both classes with a 3.9  Grade point average. All quizzes and homework were pretty much easy when I got over the hurdles of English and grammar. Pretty soon I was passing on recommendations that included websites containing how to write proper grammar etc.
Before I came to today, I had a perquisite  meeting with my guidance counselor for  accommodations regarding my English 321 class for this fall. However, when I got out of the meeting, I got the feeling God was telling me to completely give up on all my Teacher's support labs even though she recommended them. So I went to the English and study skills center to confirm whether or not they offer support for students outside support labs. They not only said yes, they also said they help with all types of writing for any class. How cool is that?
When I told mrs. Rozman the breaking news, she was ecstatic for me leaving "the nest." She said she would love to watch me "fly" out of her hand in parental terms.
So when I woke up this morning, I was just a student. But when I left her room, I was something else ready to fly.
What are your accomplishments? How far have you come out of God's "nest?" I would absolutely love to hear your story and how you became a new person. Thanks. Blessings!

Amazing how God works

http://youtu.be/eOOFAaUGfRE

It is amazing how God works with us through our trials isn't it?
When you are persecuted for your faith what do you do? Do you run and get mad? Or do you love the person? I challenge you everyday to walk in your faith through Jesus. Can you do it?
Watch the video and see for yourself.
Bye!

How God works in my life

This is how Jesus works in my life.
It starts with a simple prayer. Today I learned how to stay steadily with Him. Here's how:
Today (5/14) was priority registration for classes at MPC and I quickly figured out that I needed to register for a support lab to go with my English 321 class.
My point is this: if God can use his word to provide for me, he can do it for you. Just keep your head up, stay alert in prayer. His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Blessings!
