Crave what now?

What happens when you are craving things like Diet Coke? When happens when you crave the Word of God or Jesus? Crave him instead of wordly things and you will be good.
What I do is when I crave wordly things like coke or coffee is I don't go to it at all. I go to Him and say this simple prayer. "Jesus I am craving whatever. Let me crave you instead. Fill me with your love and overwhelming peace." It works. Try it! I dare you!
Blessings!

Glasses: the truth behind my own eyes

I've been wearing glasses since I was two because of vision problems. Let me tell you the story.
As most of you know, I was born premature at 24 weeks.
I was born a premature child because of labor pains mom felt the night before she went into labor. When she couldn't go back to sleep, she went to work the same day, but left because the pains continued.
Later at the hospital, she was checked in and was induced into labor because of a very ill life threatening fluid infection inherent sac. Plan B was premature delivery.
As soon as delivery took place, I was intubated and put to sleep.
During the next three months, my parents visited me often and regularly recorded stories of children's books and soft songs to listen to so I could feel their presence.
One day my mom and grandma were visiting me when they noticed a group of doctors and nurses around a warming tray far from mine. When the alarms went off it wasn't until everyone was moved out of the intensive care nursery. When everyone returned there was a little bundle wrapped in a plastic bag. A baby died.
Besides that, let me tell you the real reason I wore glasses. I wore glasses because of presure on the eyes causing me not to see very well.
Long story short, the day I got engaged, I lost my glasses. Figures.
Well I hope you enjoyed the story!

The Bride

Ladies and gentlemen: presenting the most famous book out of the Song of Solomon. The Bride.
This book was written for the purpose of sharing with the world about Jesus Christ  and how he wants to be your Husband.
The story is based upon the biblical book for several reasons.
1. It is told that a young shepeardess falls in love with the King of Kings.
2. As she does, she discovers who he is and who she is in his eyes of love.
3. She also discovers that she is destined to rule in royalty with him as his eternal Bride.

If you have never accepted Christ this is your chance! The book you can find at a local Christian bookstore and it's by Rhonda Calhoun. I think you will enjoy it.
If you are a Christian, fall in love with the bible through this book just for revelation. Come. Draw from Jesus. Jesus is the well we need to draw from not each other. If we draw from one another we will always be thirsty. Point yourself and your family to the bible. First scripture I would go to is Psalm 139. Amazing!
Happy blogging and stay safe online!
God bless!

Wake up, wake up!

How do you wake up in the morning?
My bedtime is 10pm and I wake up at 6am. Pretty sweet when you know it's God doing all the waking.
My prayer for you readers is that you will look to The Lord for this outcome. What I mean is that if you want a wake up call, ask God to do it. I love you all.

True faith: how is yours tried?

Today was awesome. I went to work and worked for Jesus.
Then, I went to metro to pay my phone bill. As I was preparing to leave, a homeless woman walked up to me with her dog and asked for change. My Holy Spirit told me to ask her if I could pray with her so I did. Little did I know that it would bring her health and restoration. She was looking for a home plus spare change so she could buy her puppy canned dog food. We prayed and I gave her what I had left. My prayer was basically a sweet fragrance to Jesus. She walked away bless and reassured.

Let me ask you something. Do you believe in what Jesus said when he addressed the disciples and told them, "I tell you the truth, whatever you do for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you do for me?" Think about that as you ponder his words.
Can you change somebody's life and make a difference by prayer?
God bless!

Being used by God: are you ready?

Let's see what our lives have been like so far.
Have you been living for Jesus and fully emptying yourself before you can be used by Him?
It is important that you look at yourself before you ask him "can I be used?" Look around you. Have you noticed that God uses anybody? You not only need to be used but you need to examine your heart and mind as well as your soul before God can allow it.
I pray that you would think before you ask God if you can be used. God bless.

Fear vs truth and lies

Isn't it true that if we live in fear we are believing a lie? A lead singer was reading a book by an Russian author and the following phrase jumped at him. It read: "Avoid fear; although fear is simply the consequence of every lie."
So, now you have Satan who is known as the "father of lies" telling us to believe something because it's fearful.
Meanwhile, you have God who repeatedly tells us "do not be afraid." True?

What I have learned from this statement is that when the enemy comes along and tells me that it's okay to feel fear, it's really a lie. Can you trace any fear back to a lie? I can but it's not easy at times.

My challenge to you is that when Satan comes along giving you smack, trace that back to whether it's a lie or not. Can you do it?

I know you can!

God bless you readers!
